Bringing CNS Members Together to Make Children’s Lives Better

CONNECTING TO...

The long awaited, once-in-a-lifetime CNS 50th Annual Meeting in Boston is now history. Beginning August 10, and each day for the next 50 days, we counted down to the opening day of the CNS Meeting in Boston: Wednesday, September 29.

We had fun doing so (I did, certainly, and from the kind comments many of you shared with me along the way and in Boston, many of you did, as well). By going down through the alphabet from “A-Z” and back up to “A” again, skipping three days for the Labor Day Weekend, each daily eConnections lightly touched on one or more aspects of CNS Annual Meetings (Past, Present and Future) linked to that day’s mnemonic.

The range and roster of topics wad meant to be emblematic, not encyclopedic. And – full disclosure – it was highly subjective, filtering the last 50 years through my privileged perch on the sidelines of CNS history.

My “day job” got in the way of sending out the final two entries, “B” and “A”; these will go out with, perhaps, a final look back at the 50th Anniversary Meeting sometime in mid-October.

Regards,
Roger Larson, CAE
Executive Director
