We invite you, a CNS member who is excited about child neurology and eager to shape the future of the Child Neurology Society, to join the Board of Directors. You may nominate yourself or another Active Member from June 1 through June 30.
Open Board positions are President, Councilor for the South, and Councilor for the West.
The duties of a board member include:
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the Executive Director/CEO as they develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan
- Reviewing outcomes and metrics created by the Board for evaluating impact and regularly measuring performance and effectiveness
- Approving the annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions
- Staying informed of and meeting all legal and fiduciary responsibilities
The regions for the Councilor of the South include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The regions for the Councilor of the West include Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Saskatchewan, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
