William “Bill” Gessner Johnson, M.D. (1942-2020), Professor of Neurology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University, and longtime CNS member, died early in the morning of January 30th, 2020, with his wife and sons by his side, from complications following a hemorrhagic stroke. As a molecular neurogeneticist, Bill made significant contributions to our understanding of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Services will be held February 15, 2020, at Christ Episcopal Church, Short Hills, NJ, 07078, at 11AM. A reception will follow.
