Pediatric Neurocritical Care Symposium: From Field to Follow-up

Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis Children’s Hospital invite you to attend the Pediatric Neurocritical Care Symposium: From Field to Follow Up on March 27 & 28, 2020 in St. Louis, Missouri. The program will bring together healthcare providers along the entire spectrum of neurocritical illness and recovery from initial contact and triage by emergency response teams, through inpatient management to assessing recovery and sequelae in the outpatient clinic and reintegration into the community.
 
Topics include: prehospital neurocritical care, pediatric neurosurgical emergencies, neuropsychological assessments, neurocritical care follow-up clinics, transitioning children back into the school environment and more. 
 
The expanded format will include a skills workshop of neurologic assessments and discussions of multi-modal monitoring in the ICU, basic and translational research, and standardizing clinical outcomes.
Both physician and nursing continuing education credit, including trauma hours, will be offered. Early bird discount available before Feb 23.
