Bringing CNS Members Together to Make Children’s Lives Better

CONNECTING TO...

On-line Registration for 2021 CNS 50th Annual Meeting is Open!

Registration is now open for the long awaited 50th Golden Anniversary Meeting of the Child Neurology Society in Boston. Registrants attending this milestone meeting live and in-person in Boston will want to register early (some sessions are limited and reservation-only). You will also want to book hotel rooms ASAP. A link and access code to the Sheraton Boston Hotel will be included in your registration confirmation email.
The same link will enable you to register to attend the meeting virtually, but without some of the time pressures involved with reserved sessions and hotel reservations.

  • NOTE 1: CNS National Office Staff and Registration Support are not available over the weekend. Emails and/or calls will be picked up beginning Monday.
  • NOTE 2: If you have not paid 2021 CNS Active Member dues, you will not have access to member rates. Your last chance to pay dues to qualify for member rates is August 20.
  • NOTE 3: This is an “early-bird” special for people who open and read their eConnections. Registration link will be posted on CNS website July 24

Housing

Worth noting: Without knowing how many will or will not travel to Boston in this second unsettled year of overwhelming uncertainties, the CNS did not and will not take on the additional risk of booking beyond its usual room block. Once the Sheraton fills, you will be on your own. There will be plenty of rooms available in Boston, just not at the meeting hotel.

Founders Book

Be sure to order your copy, as part of registration, of the 2nd edition of Child Neurology: It’s Origins, Founders, Growth and Evolution, edited by Stephen Ashwal, MD. There will be an opportunity following the Legacy Luncheon to have authors and subjects of profiles featured in the newly published book sign your copy. As described by Phil Pearl in his Summer 2021 Letter from the President, “The 1990 Founders featured profiles of 124 founders up to 1960; this edition has been expanded with fourteen new masterful topical overviews and an additional 137 new profiles crossing over into the new millennium.”

NOTE: Order book by August 13 to pick-up in Boston for signing. Books ordered as part of on-line meeting registration will be discounted 50% from cover price. Hard copy books ordered after August 13, or ordered before with instructions to send to home/office rather than for pick-up in Boston will be sent by publisher (Elsevier) after the meeting).
eBook format is also available.
