CNS Welcomes Stoke Therapeutics as New Mission Partner to Advance Potential New Treatment for Dravet Syndrome

The Child Neurology Society (CNS) is pleased to welcome Stoke Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing RNA-based medicines for severe genetic diseases, as our newest Mission Partner.

Stoke’s lead potential medicine is being studied in clinical trials for Dravet syndrome, a severe genetic developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE) that begins in early childhood and is associated with seizures and significant cognitive and behavioral impairments.

“We are pleased to partner with Stoke Therapeutics,” said Monique Terrell, Executive Director and CEO. “This collaboration strengthens our capacity to provide child neurologists with current knowledge about genetic medicine approaches, supporting them as they care for patients and families navigating complex diagnoses.”

Through this partnership, CNS members will gain access to educational programming focused on Dravet syndrome, helping to bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and clinical practice. Together, we are committed to advancing the field and supporting improved outcomes for children living with severe genetic diseases.

CNS members will receive updates about educational resources and programming as they become available through this partnership.
