CNS Seminar: Social Determinants of Health in Pediatric Neuroimmunology

Join us on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 3 pm CT for an engaging CNS seminar focused on Social Determinants of Health in Pediatric Neuroimmunology. In this seminar, four child neurologists will describe cutting-edge research advances evaluating social determinants of health in three of the most recognized pediatric acquired demyelinating disorders: pediatric-onset multiple sclerosis (POMS), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD).

By attending this educational session, participants will be able to describe social determinants of health variables that contribute to the inequitable clinical recognition, diagnosis, disease course, treatment strategies, and outcomes in pediatric demyelinating conditions, and identify opportunities for interventions aimed at reducing health disparities among minorities and other vulnerable populations across all children affected by pediatric demyelinating diseases.
