The purpose of this webinar is to introduce the WHO’s framework for health (the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health or ICF) and the ‘F-words for Child Development’ – a whimsical animation of the ICF now being used by parents, service providers and service programs around the world. The presentation will be designed to elicit discussion and questions.
Goals/Accomplishment of the Webinar
By the end of this webinar participants will:
- Be familiar with the WHO’s ICF framework for health and CanChild Centre’s F-words adaptation of the ICF;
- Understand potential uses of the F-words tools – for clinical services, for teaching, for research
- Know how to access a wide range of free F-words resources for families, students and colleagues
