Bringing CNS Members Together to Make Children’s Lives Better

Neurodevelopmental Disability (NDD) Special Interest Group for Child Neurology Society

The purpose of this webinar is to introduce the WHO’s framework for health (the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health or ICF) and the ‘F-words for Child Development’ – a whimsical animation of the ICF now being used by parents, service providers and service programs around the world. The presentation will be designed to elicit discussion and questions.

By the end of this webinar participants will:

  • Be familiar with the WHO’s ICF framework for health and CanChild Centre’s F-words adaptation of the ICF;
  • Understand potential uses of the F-words tools – for clinical services, for teaching, for research
  • Know how to access a wide range of free F-words resources for families, students and colleagues
