Bringing CNS Members Together to Make Children’s Lives Better

CONNECTING TO...

The Child Neurology Society (CNS) has been made aware of companies and individuals falsely claiming to represent CNS or offering to sell attendee or registration lists for the CNS Annual Meeting. These solicitations are fraudulent, and scams targeting associations and professional meetings are increasingly common.

CNS does not rent or sell attendee or registration lists to brokers, and we never provide attendee email addresses or phone numbers.

If you receive an unsolicited email or other communication offering to sell CNS attendee information, do not respond, provide personal or payment information, click links, or download attachments. Mark the message as spam or junk.

Special Notice for Exhibitors and Sponsors
CNS has received reports of individuals calling exhibitors and sponsors, falsely claiming to represent CNS and asking them to confirm or provide personal or company information.

CNS staff will not call or contact you by phone to confirm or verify personal or company information.

If you receive a call claiming to be from CNS and asking you to confirm or provide information, do not provide or confirm any company-related, personal, payment, login, or other sensitive information. Even if the caller already has some information about you or your organization, do not assume the call is legitimate.

If you are uncertain whether a communication is from CNS, end the call and contact CNS directly using your established CNS contact or the official contact information on the CNS website.

Protecting the CNS Community
CNS is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our members, attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors. Please remain vigilant when receiving unsolicited communications claiming to be affiliated with CNS or the CNS Annual Meeting.
