Dear Colleagues:

We invite all CNS members to submit proposals for the scientific program at the 2016 Annual Meeting. The Neurobiology of Disease Symposium for 2016 will address Neurofibromatosis, and the Presidential Symposium will focus on Headache in Children. Proposals addressing any aspect of child neurology will be considered; the following topic areas were those most frequently highlighted by members responding to the program survey in 2015: autoimmune disorders, autism, cannabidiol in child neurology, clinical research, demyelinating diseases, epilepsy, headache, learning disorders, movement disorders, neurogenetics (when and how to investigate, including whole exome studies; inborn errors of metabolism), neuroimaging, neuromuscular disease, practice management (burnout, coding, practice management, telemedicine), sleep and stroke.

To submit a proposal, copy and paste the following into your browser window:

Proposals should be submitted online via the following link:http://cns.nonprofitcms.org/a/Solicitations/Home/1076. Breakfast session may have up to three speakers, and symposia, up to four, but shorter sessions with fewer speakers will be considered. Ideally, sessions should be accessible, succinct, and presented at a level suitable for practicing child neurologists and trainees, rather than super specialists.

We would like the 2016 meeting to promote a more international perspective for our program. If approved, funding would be available to invite one non-Child Neurology Society member. Please consider including a non-US, internationally-recognized expert in the field as your session's one non-CNS invited speaker.
