The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) launched a 21-day public comment period today on draft neurology outcome measures.  CNS Members are invited to review the measures and provide comments before December 21. You may locate a copy of the draft measures and submit comments here.  

The draft measures address side effects, provider communication, quality of life, EMG for lower back pain and progress towards depression remission. The measures are drafted to include patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, attention deficit disorders, autism, cerebral palsy, cognitive impairment and related dementias, developmental delays, headache and migraine, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, neoplasms of brain and spine, polyneuropathy, seizure and epilepsy, stroke, tic disorders, vertigo and related neuro-otology disorders, and other neurologic conditions.
