CNS Members are encouraged to submit proposals for scientific symposia and/or breakfast seminars to be presented at the 48th Annual Child Neurology Society Meeting in Charlotte, NC, October 23-26, 2019. Three 2.25 hour symposia proposals (up to 4 speakers) and six 1.25 hour breakfast seminar proposals (up to 3 speakers) will be selected to fill out a program that will include the all-day Wednesday, October 23 Neurobiology Disease in Children Symposium (Neuro-oncology), the Thursday, October 24 Presidential Symposium, and the Saturday, October 26 Child Neurology Foundation Symposium, as well as the Bernard Sachs and Hower Award and Philip R. Dodge Young Investigator Award Lectures.

Proposals will be accepted on-line from thru January 15, 2019. The Scientific Program Committee, chaired by Dr. Erika Augustine, will review proposals and construct a program addressing the broad spectrum of CNS members' research, education, training and practice interests and needs. Acceptance emails will be sent to session organizers/proposers in early February.
