JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

A Junior Member is a person currently enrolled in a training program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, whose name has been submitted to the CNS by his/her training program director/coordinator (Step 1) and who has followed up him/herself by filling in supplementary information on the CNS website (Step 2).  A junior member is non voting and does not receive Annals of Neurology as part of his/her membership.

Junior members will have their status changed automatically from Junior to Active membership one year after completing their training and becoming qualified for examination in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the equivalent Canadian Board. Active member dues are $350/year and include subscription to Annals of Neurology.

If further training in a fellowship is planned, a Junior Member may petition the Membership Committee, including documentation of the fellowship, to remain a Junior Member for a further period of time, not to exceed 3 years.
