In balloting conducted on-line from July 10 - August 8, three new officers were elected to serve on the CNS Executive Committee:

President-Elect:  Jonathan Mink, MD, PhD
Councillor for the South:  Peter Kang, MD
Councillor for the West:  Mary Zupanc, MD

Congratulations to Drs. Mink, Kang and Zupanc. And special thanks to both them and to their fellow nominees Drs. Gary Clark, Yu-Tze Ng, and Paul Graham Fisher. The Child Neurology Society is fortunate to be able to draw on such a deep pool of bright, capable, community-oriented leaders willing to offer their time and talent to help shape the future of child neurology through the Child Neurology Society. Thanks as well to the record-high 431 CNS Active Members participating in this election.

All newly elected officers will begin serving on the board at the CNS Annual Meeting in Vancouver this October.

Jon Mink will serve a four-year term (one year as President-Elect, two years as President, one year as Past-President); he succeeds fellow University of Rochester colleague, Nina Schor who rotates off the board at the end of her four years of service as President-Elect, President, Past-President.

Peter Kang succeeds Kevin Ess, and Mary Zupanc succeeds Kara Lewis as voting board members beginning with the Friday, October 28 Executive Committee Meeting that will include the chairs of all CNS standing committees.
