The Self-Assessment Examination in Child Neurology is an on-line tool developed by members of the Child Neurology Society to help board certified child neurologists meet one of four Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements established by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Each exam covers a broad range of child neurology related content in 100 multiple-choice questions, each with detailed feedback/discussion components.

Two new CME accredited exams (8 credits each) were posted on the CNS MOC site in late November, identified as Child Neurology Self Assessment Exams #3 and #4; a 5th will be added in January 2015. These will be listed on the ABPN website's roster of approved MOC resources as soon as we gather enough new test-takers to provide viable peer comparison data for each question (in perhaps another week or two).

NOTE: The 3-year-accreditation for Child Neurology SAEs #1 and #2 has expired; those who have taken exams #1 and/or #2 may still access their exam to review in preparation for the ABPN recertification exam.

Self Assessment Exam fee: $100 for CNS Members and $250 for non-CNS members, payable by VISA or MasterCard
