Dear Medical and Research Professionals,

We are excited to let you know about the launch of our revamped Research Grant Program and the opening of our 2016 award cycle. You may find an application and more information at our website:

The mission of the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation is to increase awareness of and advocacy for Glut1 Deficiency, educate others, and support researchers as they work toward better understanding, better treatments, and an ultimate cure. Since its formation in July 2011, the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation has awarded over $235,000 in direct research grants with several other research-related projects additionally funded.  We anticipate awarding our greatest sums to date in the coming cycle - all thanks to the generous donations and support we receive from family and friends of those affected by Glut1 Deficiency.

Application deadline is March 31st.  Please let us know if you have questions or need additional information.  Thank you sincerely for your interest in the Glut1 Deficiency community.

Kind regards,

Glenna Steele
