The Child Neurology Society announces an award for basic or clinical research by promising young investigators who are members of the CNS. Applications will be judged on the basis of originality, scientific merit, succinct-ness and relevance. The recipient will receive a grant-in-aid of $20,000 and will be invited to present his/her work at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Child Neurology Society, October 30 – November 2, 2013 in Austin, TX. Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant completed a pediatric neurology residency on or after June 30, 2008 or a neurodevelop-mental disability residency on or after June 30, 2009, and graduated medical school on or after May 2003, or after May 2002 if the applicant completed a 3 year pediatric residency.

 2. The scientific work is mainly the result of the applicant's efforts.

3. The applicant is a Junior or Active member of the Child Neurology Society as of March 1, 2013.
