The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN) has unveiled a redesigned website at www.abpn.com. Based on feedback from physician groups and frequent users, the site features a streamlined navigation and a mobile-friendly design to meet the needs of residents, candidates, diplomates, training directors and coordinators, credentialers, the general public and other groups seeking more information about board certification and maintenance of certification for psychiatrists and neurologists.

“It is our hope that the users of our new website find it to be an effective and efficient tool supporting them in their efforts to learn about the ABPN and its programs for certification and/or maintenance of certification,” said Larry Faulkner, MD, ABPN President and CEO. “We want our website users to know that we welcome and appreciate any feedback they might have on how our website might be improved.”

The new website includes:

•             An easy-to-use search button to quickly find information
•             Reorganized content grouped by user needs for easy access to information based on what tasks the user would like to accomplish
•             A FAQ section for quick answers to common questions
•             Quick Links for fast navigation to the most common tasks
•             Upcoming Deadlines list for quicker access to important dates

In addition, detailed pages for each exam are grouped under Become Certified for those who seek initial certification by taking an exam and Maintain Certification for those who wish to maintain their certification and/or take a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) exam.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the public interest and the professions of psychiatry and neurology by promoting excellence in practice through certification and maintenance of certification processes.
