CNS Members are encouraged to submit proposals for scientific symposia and/or breakfast seminars to be presented at the 47th Annual Child Neurology Society Meeting in Chicago, October 15-18, 2018. Three 2.25 hour symposia proposals (up to 4 speakers) and six 1.25 hour breakfast seminar proposals (up to 3 speakers) will be selected to fill out a program that will include the all-day Monday, October 15 Neurobiology Disease in Children Symposium (Tourette Syndrome), the Tuesday, October 16 Presidential Symposium, and the Thursday, October 18 Child Neurology Foundation Symposium (Transition of Care), as well as the Bernard Sachs Lecture (Dr. William Dobyns), Hower Award Lecture (Dr. Bernard Maria), and Phillip R. Dodge Young Investigator Award Lecture (TBD; applications accepted February 1 - April 1).

Proposals will be accepted on-line from December 1, 2017 thru January 15, 2018. The Scientific Program Committee, chaired by Dr. Erika Augustine, will review proposals and construct a program addressing the broad spectrum of CNS members' research, education, training and practice interests and needs. Acceptance emails will be sent to session organizers/proposers in early/mid February.
