This ACGME-accredited fellowship program provides outstanding experience as listed below. (i) Neonatal, pediatric and adult EEG. (ii) Long term video-EEG monitoring. (iii) Functional brain mapping using evoked potentials and event-related spectral changes. (iv) Functional brain mapping using electrical and magnetic stimulation. (v) Multimodality neuroimaging modalities including PET, fMRI, and DTI. (vi) Epilepsy surgery following subdural EEG monitoring. (vii) EMG. There will be lots of opportunities to write papers in neurophysiology, neuroimaging, genetics and neuropsychology. This is the only pediatric institution in the world with its own PET Center. Trainees can gain valuable experience for private practice in the future. Applicants must have completed pediatric or adult neurology training by the summer of 2011.
