The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills in general pediatric neurology and will be expected to develop a subspecialty clinical program. Applicants with clinical expertise in movement disorders, stroke, neonatal neurology, sleep medicine, neuro-oncology or behavioral/cognitive pediatric neurology are particularly encouraged to apply. This appointment will be at the Assistant Professor rank in the clinician-educator academic pathway, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Requirements include an MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Washington, and certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology.
