The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and the Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital are seeking a Division Chief in the Division of Pediatric Neurology. Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital is a 200+-bed facility providing care to more than 150,000 children each year. The faculty appointment for Division Head will be at the Associate or Professor Level. The candidate must be board certified in Pediatric Neurology and have an active clinical or basic research program. Candidates with demonstrated expertise in Neuro-Genetics and/or Neuro-Oncology and the desire to contribute to developing centers of excellence in these areas are encouraged to apply. The Department of Pediatrics has an internationally recognized Chromosome 18 program. The UTHSCSA has a comprehensive epilepsy surgery program and monitored beds in both the PICU and NICU. San Antonio, the eight largest city in the United States, is a superb place to live. This is one of the fastest growth areas in the country with a cost of living that is below the national average.
