St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (SJCRH) has initiated a national search for candidates for a newly created opening in child neurology. St. Jude is the largest childhood cancer research center in the world in terms of number of patients enrolled on a research study protocol and successfully treated. St. Jude is both a pediatric hospital, dedicated to the care of children with catastrophic illnesses, and a research institute, whose faculty members are engaged in a broad spectrum of research.

This child neurologist will join the neurology division at SJCRH, and will interact with the six child neurologists based at the University of Tennessee / Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center. Candidates will devote 60% - 70% of their time to seeing patients with neurologic complications of cancer therapy in clinic, or on a consultation basis in the hospital. The other 30% - 40% of the individual's time would be devoted to clinical research. This new faculty position will report to the Chief of Pediatric Neurology. Candidates must be BE/BC in pediatric neurology.
