Proposal Submission

Submit a Proposal for the 2010 CNS Annual Meeting 39th Annual Child Neurology Society Meeting Providence, Rhode Island October 13-16, 2010

The Scientific Selection and Program Planning Committee invites proposals for Symposia and Breakfast Seminars for the upcoming 39th Annual Meeting of the Child Neurology Society. This mechanism for on-line proposal submission capitalizes on the talents, energy, and ingenuity of the full CNS Membership.

The Scientific Selection and Program Planning Committee will consider all proposals submitted using the form below for the 2010 CNS Annual Meeting. It is especially important that you, as a proposer, will ensure that the content of the proposed symposium or breakfast seminar will meet the needs of those attending the CNS Annual Meeting. Further, you or the person designated will bear the responsibility of assembling excellent speakers who will best represent the area that you propose. First preference should be given to excellent speakers drawn from the membership of the CNS. If, however speakers of noted expertise in the subject area and proven excellence at the podium are not members of our society, you are encouraged to solicit their participation with the assurance that the committee will work with you to facilitate their participation.

Time and money do inevitably come into play and should be considered at the outset . A maximum of four speakers is recommended for symposia, three for breakfast seminars. (Suggested maximum: one non-CNS member speaker per breakfast seminar, two per symposium). CNS members present pro bono; non-members receive $1000 honoraria for symposia, $500 for breakfast seminars plus room, board, and travel.

Thank you for assisting the Scientific Selection and Program Planning Committee in designing what we trust will be an outstanding program for the upcoming 39th Annual Meeting.
