Self-Assessment Examination in Child Neurology Now Available On-line

The Self-Assessment Examination in Child Neurology (Child Neuro SAE I) is an on-line tool developed by members of the Child Neurology Society to help board certified child neurologists meet one of four Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements established by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). No CME credit will be awarded for this exercise.

On-line Abstract Submission for CNS Annual Meeting

Abstracts of papers to be considered for presentation at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Child Neurology Society must be submitted on-line by April 7, 2010. The meeting will be held October 13-16, 2010 at the Rhode Island Convention Center & Westin Providence in Providence, Rhode Island. To submit an abstract, click here

CNS Junior Member Awards -- Submit an abstract to qualify for consideration

CNS Junior Members submitting abstracts accepted for presentation at the CNS 39th Annual Meeting will receive a registration fee waiver to attend the meeting in Providence this October.

  • To qualify for awards, first author must be Junior Member of the CNS enrolled in a three-year accredited training program as of April 7, 2010. Eligibility for the award should be verified by letter from training director; letter may be e-mailed to rblarson@childneurologysociety.org.
  • Outstanding Junior Member/Resident Award: Up to four awards will be given. Award includes 1) Plaque, 2) Registration fee waiver, 3) Travel and hotel paid for by the CNS
  • Future Leaders Awards: Registration fee waived for Junior Members presenting as first author of abstract(s) accepted for presentation.

Philip R. Dodge Young Investigator Award Applications due March 12

The recipient of the award will receive a grant-in-aid of $20,000 and will be invited to present their work at the 39th Annual Meeting of the the Child Neurology Society, October 13-16, 2010 in Providence, RI. For details, click here.
